TAKE YOUR LIFE TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Dance Like a Dragonfly

Olga Garber, a young Australian entrepreneur, business development manager, dancer, and designer and creator of exclusive custom made dancewear, started a dancewear label Dance Like a Dragonfly. She designs and creates custom fit and custom made dresses in Sydney, in her design studio. Attention to detail, amazing handwork and beautiful finish make Olga Garber very popular between professional dancers. Her dresses definitely stand out on the dance floor!
“I started making costumes first when I had a dance show group. After dancing for many years I have also developed passion for dance/sport dresses. The diamantes, feathers, frills and lace…I have started making Latin and ballroom dresses for competitive dancers. In order to add more professional finish to my work I have started taking private tutorials with Olena Luggassi. The lessons have made dramatic difference to the quality of the dresses and have taken me to the next level of dressmaking. First of all would love to thank you for the support and a bit of a kick push my professional hobby. I have not stopped making dresses! The drawing lesson was huge help and the tips for finishes made all the difference. I have made 14 dresses this year and 3 more to finish. Very happy with myself. The lessons were best thing I could have done!”, Olga.

BORNALI BORAH

Picture
Bornali Borah loves designing dresses. She wanted a challenge and decided to work with silk, lace and beads to create the featured dress.
Bornali left the silhouette simple and let the lace and silk speak; the asymmetrical and cascading lace draws the eye to the lace, and the gap between the lace is showing the beautiful textured silk underneath. It took her around 6 days to finish the dress.
What a stunning design, Bornali!
We love it!

Wedding Dress by Kelly Small

Picture
Kelly Small from QLD:
“I used to own a Bridal Shop & I just loved it. I started researching fabrics, beading, and courses & learning as much as I could, as I knew this is what I wanted to do… My drawings frustrate me sometimes but I just have not given up & have had the help of Olena Luggassi to teach me how to draw the designs I had in mind. Olena has helped me so much just through emails, sharing contacts, fabrics etc, her help is greatly appreciated…

I have designed and produced a beautiful Wedding Gown – Olivia Grace. It is still a sample but this is the first step of my fashion design career. The fabrics I used were Ivory Satin & Organza with the bust heavily beaded with a lace-up back.
There is no way to describe the feeling of opening an email with photos of the finished Wedding Dress that you designed it is so surreal & amazing…Follow your dreams till the end & never give up!”
